The Statement Necklace!

 Hey my beautiful fashion friends!  It is Monday and I am B.E.A.T!

I had a very eventful weekend.  Is it me or does everything tend to happen in one weekend and other weekends you are sitting around twiddling your thumbs?  Well...I don't ever twiddle my thumbs because I can always find something to do. It just seems like that sometimes. I am not one to get bored...even when I am at home with nothing to do...lol.

 
Today's featured outfit is what I wore to my girlfriend's 40th birthday get together.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know I celebrated with the Pink Panther. She loves the color pink and the pink panther and she is a feisty animal born on 6/9...lol  The festivities started out with dinner and back to her place "The Pink Panther Lounge" for cake, cocktails, the Heat/Celtics game and the Pacquiao/Bradley fight.  We had a ball!

I wanted to keep it simple and wear a crisp white button up, a vest and skinnies with a punch of color by adding this gifted statement necklace.  My girl Efie Lynn gifted it to me from her online accessory shop.  Isn't it fabulous?  Thanks girl...I LOVE it!  One of my girlfriends tried to rob me of it.  I held it down though. LOL Please like LA Lynn's on FACEBOOK and follow her BLOG to be amongst the first to have a chance to grab her fabulous pieces!

    I totally understand the piled up weekend vs. the twiddling our thumbs weekend. A nice balance would be great, wouldn't it?
    I LOVE that necklace!!!! I wonder if you could take that to church and fan yourself with it? LOL

    Tavia, that necklace is great! I can do some things with that! I've got a bracelet it would go perfect with.
    Take it easy and don't tire yourself out too much. The party sounds like a blast. I loooooove the Pink Panther too. He is so funny and doesn't even have to say a word.
